I just posted an article “My 10 Favorite Direct Sales Holiday Gift Ideas” that didn’t cover all of the ideas I wanted to share. So I decided to do this “Part II” post.
Inspired by Boss Mom Podcast, Episode 148, I decided this post will focus on some of the stuff I personally would like to get as a gift, shall I say, “My Wish List” and also the ones I’d like to give to someone.
1. Unique Jewelry from Vintage Meets Modern
Veronica has been one of Featured Mamapreneurs here on Mamapreneurs Club. Her website is full of beautiful and unique jewelry. She says many of them have stories behind them. She is also a stylist and can give you recommendations! I would love to get my hand on at least one of her jewelry and get a styling advice from her. You can also check out and like Vintage Meets Modern Facebook page .
2. Five Minute Journal from Intelligent Change
I am so glad I’ve come across this journal. I actually love journals, but being a busy mamapreneur, I just can’t seem to continue. With Five Minute Journal, it simplified journaling. It gives instructions in the beginning how to use it, and it is just easy to do! Ever since I got one,
I’ve been pretty consistent. I’m planning on getting some more for me and as a gift. I also got their Productivity Journal, which I’ve had a bit of touch time getting used to, but I’m getting a hang of it.
3. Lil Labels
Owned and operated by another one of the Featured Mamapreneurs, Minna Sithep. I had a little fund raiser with Lil Labels for my boys’ school about a month ago. I don’t have little ones who use bottles, but my boys are still in middle school where their jackets and shirts can get lost. So I bought the little labels and now all of their jackets and water bottles have labels on them. I think every mom should have these little labels. Awesome products!
Oh seriously! Why wasn’t Laura (the creator of Starship Family Journey) available when my boys were little?! They would have loved this. Well, I should show them, they are 13 and 12, may still like this…. They actually love drawing and writing journals.
Ok, I admit, I’m not a Millenial Momma, but I love the idea of gratitude writing. I use Five Minute Journal I mentioned above, which include daily gratitude writing. But having said that, this is beautiful and makes you happy! Only 100 available (may not be 100 any more…. until supplies last!).
7. My Favorite D.I.Y gifts:
I use doTERRA Essential oils, but you can use your favorite “therapeutic” essential oils.
(7a): Lotion Bars: This is my FAVORITE! I use it on my hands and feet – especially my dried up and cracked heels! While you’re at it, make a bunch and wrap it up in a cellophane tie with a cute ribbon, voila! Cute hand-made gift! There’s another one that is fabulous for feet ~ Foot Lotion! This would be a great gift too! Also… Lip Balm, Body Butter, Bath Bombs, Bath Salts, Sugar Scrubs, Hand Soap to name a few. Dryer Balls are easy to make but sort of expensive to buy at the store.
(7b): Anything in a Jar gifts: Healthy Pancake mix in a jar ~ I actually like getting things like this. I’ve gotten Cookie Mix in a jar, Herb mix for Dips in a jar (mini), Hot Cocoa Mix in a jar, you name it, these are great gifts!
(7c ): Of course, anything that’s edible is always a welcome gift, don’t you think? Chocolate chip cookies, ginger bread cookies, brownies, brittle, truffles, toffees,…yum yum! One of my boys’ teachers, Mrs. Harlan gave me her home-made Toffee every year. First year she gave me her toffee, she apologized for “cooking a little too long”. It wasn’t burned but for her, it was a little more bitter than she liked. Well, I personally like it a bit burned, not completely but just a little to give that bitterness of burned caramel (you know what I mean?!). So ever since, she cooked it a little longer to give a bit of ‘bitterness” just for me. She moved away a couple of years ago, so I don’t get to have her famous toffee any more. I don’t have her recipe but I found this on allrecipes.com. I wish I had a patience to make my own….. may be sometime. Oh, speaking of, holiday cookies….My husband and boys make this “Russian Tea Cakes” every Christmas – wonderful treats everyone loves! (He was actually making it as I write this!)

9. Give a gift of Planning ~ Financial.. that is!
This is THE PERFECT time to get your finances in order with this nicely organized Budget and Financial Planner Spreadsheet for busy families offered by Redefiningmom.com. You can get this for yourself or your friends!
I really like idea of having a journal to go along with reading a book. My boys’ read books for school and have to do book reports, I don’t know if they would admit or not, but I think they secretly enjoy writing a book report. In 4th grade, one of my boys actually wrote a book report over 10 pages long! If they can just get into a habit of writing fun journal, drawing pictures and coloring like they can do in this journal, it would be a win-win awesomeness for them! By the way, Lu and Bean has a podcast that’s fun and educational at the same time done. It’s a mom (Tracey Babler) and her kiddos interviewing authors and have authors read their book! How awesome is that!? Moms, if you don’t know what books are recommended for your kiddos, you have to check out Lu and Bean for sure!
I left this out of my last post, but not on purpose! I can’t wait to try a mascaras that make your lashes look really great. Arbonne‘s brand seems great, andI know they’re committed to pure, safe and beneficial (I think that’s their motto). Look at the picture below, all look great, doesn’t it make you want to try?!
Another one I didn’t want to forget to share here is Pampered Chef . My kitchen is slowly converting to be a Pampered Chef Kitchen. They have quality kitchen products that last long time as well as spices and cookbooks. Everyone needs to cook and eat, which is why Pampered Chef is a great gift idea. My favorite this year is Whip Cream Maker! My boys love making butter from heavy whipping cream and this little gadget makes whip cream as well as butter in seconds! They have stuff from under $10 and up. Check out their Holiday Gift ideas ~ You can find something for everyone!
